Some people get a headache on squirrels which eat nuts from your garden bird feeder. Even though they bought a squirrel-proof' bird feeders, the squirrels didn't agree with the 'squirrel-proof' part.The same problem appears when rat stealing the grains from the bird feeder for ground feeding bird like doves.
Rats are diseased, destructive, and squirrels are intelligent and smart. While you would want neither of them gets into your property damage!
Poisons are the first methods for the case, but considering some economic reasons, you may not want to kill them by the chemical in case of any hurt to the birds.
To avoid this situation, some get a plan to release or killed them once got trapped by the trap cage.
